After several days of Western cuisine in Canada, I really wanted to eat some Asian Chinese food... I saw an online introduction to a place that had noodles from many different countries, so we decided to check it out. As soon as we walked in, I felt a sense of regret... The whole environment was very dim, the staff didn’t seem to care much about customers, and there was a strange oily smell... But we felt a bit embarrassed and still ordered two noodle dishes...
❤️ Singapore cashew curry box
When I used to live in Singapore, I didn’t know about this kind of noodles... I even find it a bit hard to understand how people here created it. Honestly, I couldn’t really taste any curry flavor; I just felt like I was eating a bowl of noodles with ingredients... I can’t say it was good or bad... but it was still edible enough.
❤️ Pad Thai box
This dish is really hard to put into words... I truly couldn’t swallow it! In the famous Pad Thai from Thailand, they added so much sugar... it felt like an American way of eating! But the sweetness... it was like having a sugar cube in my mouth... super uncomfortable! So this was also a bowl of noodles that we couldn’t finish.
Overall, I do not recommend this place at all... I don’t understand how Google can give it a high rating of 4.5 stars... I really do not recommend this noodle shop! If you pass by, it’s best to skip it! Don’t go in and step on a landmine!
