This is a Thai restaurant under the Mita Group, and it's my first time trying it out. The exterior and interior ambiance are quite well thought out, giving off a South Asian vibe.
The two-person set meal costs 988, and the portion size is generous, but to be honest — it’s not Thai at all 😅 I was a bit disappointed. The shredded green papaya salad was amazing; the first bite was truly impressive. The curry with coconut milk was rich and a bit sweet, but it pairs well with rice. Unfortunately, the cabbage in the set was just stir-fried; adding shrimp paste would have enhanced it further. The dipping sauce for the moon shrimp cakes was not quite right, but the grilled meat skewers were delicious.
The complimentary spicy chicken was quite tough, the rice flour wraps were too thick and oily, and the cashew chicken lacked wok hei. The taro sago dessert was overly sweet, but it was the most quintessentially Thai dish here 😂
Overall, if you are looking for "Thai cuisine," you might be a bit disappointed, as it felt more like a Taiwanese stir-fry version with some Thai flavors.
