In conclusion, I just want to say something: Damn it, why is there no Texas Knight in Taipei! ?
Because I have to eat vegetarian food for seven days, it’s really hard to have lunch near the high-speed rail station (I really want to eat wugu🤣🤣🤣). I’ve been looking for a suitable vegetarian restaurant for a long time, and finally I saw this one I’ve never seen in Taipei. Texas Knight, I think I can cope with it by simply eating French fries and drinking corn chowder. In addition, corn chowder happens to be half price (21 yuan), so I don’t feel too distressed when I order it all. I really didn’t expect much from the taste 😂
After ordering, I waited for about ten minutes to get my meal. It was probably because it was the holiday lunch period and there were a lot of people, so French fries and other fried items needed to be fried freshly. There was not much waiting space in front of the stall. You have to find a seat first, otherwise there are really not many places in this food court, and it is difficult to find a seat during peak hours, which will inevitably affect the dining experience.
Fortunately, the meal itself was worth the wait.
The wavy fries are bigger than expected, and the frying method is also very special. I have never had this kind of texture in Taipei. They are really crispy on the outside and dense on the inside. Plus they are freshly fried, wow, crunchy and delicious.
The corn soup is also surprisingly the kind I like. The soup is white in color, not the McDonald's version. In addition to corn, there are potato chunks in the soup! And the proportion of ingredients is not low, and it tastes very satisfying. It should be the ceiling of corn soup in fast food restaurants. 🤔 It is also delicious to throw the fries in and eat it. The fries will not soften quickly, so eat them together. I think they complement each other a lot.
The QQ sticks were different from what I thought. I thought they were cheese sticks, but they turned out to be a bit like long sweet potato balls/QQ eggs. They were not unpalatable, but I didn’t want to taste the taste of sweet potato balls at the moment, so That's fine.
I didn’t have a chance to eat fried chicken this time, but I will definitely come back next time!
