❤️ Yuan Ji Yun Dumplings from China, the prices are over twice that of China, but they are still delicious!! However, you should avoid some more ordinary dishes. Each post will have actual dining photos; even if it's just a picture of a drink, this is to prevent some users from pretending to have dined by not providing food images. Overall rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

📍 Located on Dundas Street in Yau Ma Tei, there are some seats available for dining in, but there is no attached restroom.
🚗 I'm not sure about parking spots nearby, but there are no places to park on the street.

💬 Here we go again~~~ Full of shrimp, arriving at this dumpling shop where they make the dumplings fresh really feels delicious. The staff looked puzzled as to why we asked if they accepted card payments (since we had no Hong Kong cash on us), and it seemed the staff were Chinese, with some chefs in the back still making dumplings.

Since we arrived quite late at the restaurant, we didn't experience the chaotic delivery situations that many reviews mentioned, and most diners were solo customers, so the table turnover rate was quite fast. There were also pickled radishes and some sauces for dipping available in the restaurant. Overall, it is a dumpling shop where you can eat to your fill.

Shrimp and Crab Roe Wontons $65 + Noodles ($8) This bowl was the last to arrive, and I regretted adding noodles when it was served because the portion was a bit too much to finish. However, the ten large shrimp wontons were still very delicious, and with the addition of crab roe, they were unbeatable. You couldn’t tell at all that these shrimp dumplings came from a chain restaurant.
🥟 Signature Pan-Fried Dumplings 10 pieces $50 The menu indicates that there is a chive flavor, and the chive taste is quite strong. However, the pan-fried dumplings aren't as delicious as those from Taiwan's Ba Fang Yun Ji (I prefer a crispier texture). They are also on the smaller side! I wouldn't recommend ordering the pan-fried dumplings~
Crispy Fish Skin $30 I recommend trying the fish skin. I find that the sauce used for the cold fish skin pairs very well with the fish skin itself, making it a refreshing side dish for summer (even though we finished it before the wontons arrived). With just the right amount of spiciness added, I just couldn’t stop eating it!
Crispy Wood Ear Mushrooms $20 Compared to fish skin, wood ear mushrooms are somewhat lacking, considered to be more of a standard option. If you're not a big fan, you can skip ordering them.
🍵 Milk tea $9 Milk tea is an item that can be added to your order, it's on the sweeter side, and the staff didn't ask if you wanted to adjust the sweetness. A cup costs $9.
Very clean dining area.
Transparent glass allows you to see the filling process inside.
You can also see it outside the store.
