The noodle shop in the city market is a cheap noodle restaurant located in an alley. The business is pretty good, and the proprietress is very kind.
🍽️Environment
It is also in a market, but it is of the type with a storefront. The environment is basically clean and tidy, but there are many traces of time.
There are two four-seater seats inside, and the rest are probably row-seating areas, which can accommodate about 20 people. The air-conditioning in the row-seating areas is cooler.
🍜Meals
▪️Dan Dan Noodles + Chao Shou $60
Basically every item in the store can be ordered with Chao Shou🤣. I used to order minced beef Chao Shou noodles, but later I wanted to eat something lighter so I ordered Dandan noodles with Chao Shou. The noodles here are usually cooked softer, but compared with Chao Shou and After eating the peanut powder mixed with sesame sauce, it has three different textures: soft, medium and hard, and the noodles will not feel too soft. There are about 8-10 pieces of Chaoshou. The skin is thin and tender.
This is a small bowl. If you are hungry, you can order a medium bowl for RMB 5.
▪️Seaweed and Egg Drop Soup $25
A decent egg drop soup with celery added.
😃Overall, it’s okay. I come here when I don’t know what to eat at noon and I’m not too hungry. The food is served very quickly. In addition, if you don’t specifically order soup, the boss lady will also provide clear soup.
