In Kaohsiung's Lingya district, there’s a Japanese-style tea house located near the Central Park MRT station. You can easily spot it from a distance due to the crowd outside!
Since they have a waiting list, it's best to arrive early.
The shop only has one floor with less than ten seats. It's small but warm and cute, and the staff are quite friendly. You can tell the owner must really love cats (including the lucky cat) 🤣.
The meal prices are quite reasonable, with a minimum spending of one drink per person.
𓌉𓇋 Daily Special - Earl Grey Pound Cake $150
· The most popular item here is the chestnut cake, but when I saw the sign for the daily special, I was intrigued ☝🏻. I'm usually afraid of dry pound cakes, but thankfully, this one isn’t dry at all. The scoop of vanilla ice cream on top not only cools you down but also adds moisture to the cake.
To my surprise, I found bits of chestnut inside! There’s also a handmade cookie decoration on top, which I think shows a lot of care and attention 🖤

· The price for this cake is quite budget-friendly. I've loved this lemon-shaped cake since I was a child 🍋. Its sweet and sour flavor makes it a perfect second dessert for afternoon tea ><
𓌉𓇋 Showa Fruit Pudding $120
· The pudding ordered by my friend is decorated with three types of fruit, making it visually appealing! It has a rich milky flavor, and the caramel isn’t too bitter.
