Located directly opposite Exit 4 of Zhongshan Station, the yellow sign with green fonts stands at the triangular window. It is quite conspicuous. It should be a store that is difficult to ignore for anyone shopping around Zhongshan Station.

After having dinner with friends, we wanted to find a place to chat. When we saw Taipei Dairy King was bustling with people, we couldn’t suppress our curiosity and finally stepped into this store.

I originally thought this was a shop selling various milk drinks, but when I came in, I realized that the food here is also very diverse. Not only are there light snacks such as croissant sandwiches, but also beef brisket risotto, fried pork tenderloin rice with green onions, and gratin. Noodles and other rice options (but to be honest, the salty portion doesn’t look very delicious just looking at the photos, so I don’t know how it tastes)

There are seats on the first and second floors, and the number of seats is super large. Basically, you don’t have to worry about not having a seat when you come here. The disadvantage is that the environment is a bit stuffy, the air is not very circulated, and the toilets are not very clean and refreshing. In addition, the environment is really noisy. , I almost yelled while chatting with my friends.

We each ordered a drink and sat chatting. The germ barley milk was $80 and the blueberry yogurt was $90. They were about the size of a medium cup in a drink shop outside. To be honest, they were not very cheap, but a drink in this cafe easily costs one or two hundred. Zhongshan Station is already very affordable.
The taste of these two cups is just...well...it's quite satisfactory. It doesn't taste bad, but that's it. The milk doesn't have a surprising rich and mellow aroma. It's not a drink that will make people miss it and want to buy it specially.

Overall, it is understandable why Taipei Dairy King is so popular with uncles, aunties and students (about 70% of the customers are uncles, aunts and 20% are students), because as long as you spend less than $100, you can have a meal with friends in this Zhongshan Sitting and chatting in the business district does have its niche market, but I would prefer a more comfortable space. Unless I want to save some money in the future, I will probably choose other dessert shops or cafes.
