📍 Taichung. He Ping
A Chinese restaurant located in Gu Guan that blends mountain and provincial characteristics!
Simply put, it's a Chinese stir-fry restaurant!
This time we ordered:
🍚 Flavored Fried Rice $100
🫚 Ginger Shredded Pork Intestine with Fragrant Tofu $280
🌿 Thai Basil Egg $150
🍄🟫 Crispy Fried Mountain Mushrooms $200
🥗 Fresh Sweet Cabbage from Li Shan $200
Since we weren't particularly interested in the sturgeon, although the nearby sign seems to feature sturgeon, we decided not to order that dish.
Overall, the flavors were strong and very satisfying with rice! However, the portions weren’t as large as expected.
Especially the "Ginger Shredded Pork Intestine with Fragrant Tofu," which is really worthy of being a signature dish 👍
The sauce made us go for several extra bowls of plain rice!
The restaurant particularly recommends the sturgeon fried rice, which comes in a larger portion!
Just ordering the flavored fried rice was too little!
For four people, one plate of fried rice wasn’t enough, so we later ordered a few extra bowls of plain rice to pair with the delicious sauce from the ginger shredded pork intestine 👍
After quickly finishing several dishes, we still weren't full, so we ended up going to a nearby convenience store to buy some snacks.
In conclusion: The flavors were delicious, but the portions were a bit lacking.
(However, I don’t know why I saw many people leaving food behind 😅)
So let everyone evaluate the portion size themselves ~
🅿️ Parking Information
There is a multi-story parking lot nearby. The building is a bit old, but there are still available spots, and the price is reasonable, quite acceptable 👌.
