I've been saving up for this place for a super long time! Finally had the chance to go eat here.
(They have braised noodle soup in Sanxia, but I wonder if the taste is the same?)
I'm a wide noodle fan—these noodles are incredibly wide!
And there’s not a single dish that misses the mark—each one is very unique.
The flavors are definitely different from typical noodle shops 😍, totally to my liking, I would give it a perfect score of 💯.
The only downside is that it's too far from me 🫠.
◽ Tomato Egg Wide Noodles (thin/wide) ✨ $130
＞ The broth is simmered with beef tomatoes, creating a slightly sour and sweet flavor that makes you keep coming back for more! The thickness of the wide noodles is just right—not too thick to have a raw flour taste—and they can absorb some broth so that the flavors of the soup and the noodles blend perfectly.
◽ Shaanxi Spicy Sour Oil Noodles (wide) ✨ $90
＞ I usually eat mildly spicy, and this bowl is a bit too spicy for me 🤣. The sourness is very pronounced! The sauce is heavily flavored, which is really appetizing; although I don’t usually love spicy food, the taste was so good that I wanted to finish it even while my nose was running 🤧.
◽ Spicy Tofu ✨ $80
＞ This is really special! I've never seen this combination before. The tender tofu is sliced and covered with a generous amount of spicy oil and seasoned ground meat. It’s not spicy at all, just full of that spicy aroma. The main saltiness comes from the meat on top, and it's super delicious!
◽ Chive Dumplings ✨ $7 each
＞ I’m a bit picky about dumplings, but their chive seasoning is just right 👌. The skin isn’t too thick nor too thin to fall apart easily, and they’ve mastered the cooking time perfectly 👍🏻. Even my boyfriend said it was great!
◽ Blanched Vegetables ✨ $40
＞ I thought it would just be blanched vegetables, but they even drizzled some sesame oil over them 👀, adding a nice aroma to the veggies. I really liked it!
In summary, I’m going to miss these noodles 🥲. After finishing, I want to eat them again!
