This time, I visited 'VANITOY BAGEL', located in Koedo Kawagoe, Saitama, just a 10-minute walk from Honkawagoe Station! This shop specializes in bagels made with 100% Hokkaido wheat and espresso coffee.

The bagels at 'VANITOY BAGEL' are made with 100% Hokkaido wheat "Haru yo Koi," along with beet sugar, salt, and yeast, resulting in a finely textured, moist, and chewy bagel. The salt is made from 100% natural domestic sea salt. The beet sugar is mildly sweet and has flavor and richness, made from 100% Hokkaido sugar beets. It also contains oligosaccharides, which can promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria like bifidobacteria, making it kind to the body. It's truly killing two birds with one stone! ♡ Additionally, a small amount of dry yeast is used to ensure it has a mild flavor, and the bagels are made through low-temperature, long fermentation. This handmade process is what makes 'VANITOY BAGEL' bagels so chewy and healthy, something that cannot be replicated elsewhere!

Inside, it was packed with crispy Oreo and rich cream cheese. The little saltiness of the Oreo pairs perfectly with the tanginess of the cream cheese!

【Kawagoe Purple Bagel】
With a striking purple appearance, this bagel has purple sweet potato kneaded into the dough, and it’s filled with red bean paste and cream cheese, making it a delicious Japanese-style bagel.
