Located in the Pingtung Donggang Overseas Chinese Market, "Fuhai Seafood Restaurant" is a popular choice for many tourists seeking a meal prepared on their behalf. When my friend and I went to buy sashimi, I asked if there were any seats available. The owner confirmed there were while looking for someone to take us to a table, eventually leading us to this restaurant, which may be managed by the same owner or a partner. The place was very crowded, and the speed of food service was noticeably very slow, making the atmosphere feel chaotic. Despite this, the staff's attitude was relatively friendly, though it was clear they were overwhelmed.
This time, we ordered a few dishes, and overall, the food was average, but one dish, the "Fried That Fish," left a lasting impression on me. It really is called "That Fish." This dish featured a crispy exterior and tender interior, packed with freshness, and was very satisfying to eat—definitely a dish worth recommending. However, other dishes like steamed fish or stir-fried seafood performed rather mediocrely with nothing particularly outstanding.
Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend it; there were too many people and a long wait, and the food wasn't too special, except for that one fish dish that was particularly delicious!
