On my day off, I took a walk at Longtan Big Pond.
I wanted to grab a bite to rest a bit, so I came to "Dragon Coffee" located next to Longtan Big Pond.
✅ Tropical Fruit Tea 🍹 $190
It had some diced apples, and it tasted like a not-too-sweet apple-mango juice.
✅ Fresh Cheese / Apple Mango $130
The cheese had a texture that wasn't very creamy, almost like pudding 😐.
Looking back at the menu, I found that it was written as Panna Cotta (Italian cheese).
I'm not sure if this is the typical texture of Italian cheese, but it certainly differed from the cheese I'm used to 🤔.
✅ Dragon Coffee Waffle / Banana Chocolate 🧇 $220
When the staff brought it to us, they apologized that the banana was cut unevenly.
At first, I thought it was okay, but after taking some photos and each having a bite, I realized there wasn’t any chocolate sauce drizzled on it.
After looking at other reviews, I saw that the presentation was beautiful, and what they initially served us was quite disappointing.
I really wanted to ask if there’s no staff training 😅.
Putting all this aside regarding taste, the waffle was baked to a slightly crispy exterior but was already cold when served.
The banana didn’t seem very ripe, and the chocolate sauce wasn’t very sweet.
Overall, it was pretty unsatisfactory...
For this price range, the quality is just lacking. I can only say this place is truly catering to tourists.
