This time, I visited the stylish Japanese restaurant “Gohan-ya Isshin,” which might be a bit hard to find at first as it’s located in the basement of a building, just a 3-minute walk from Daikanyama Station!
What I highly recommend is our pride, the three-tiered kamado (traditional rice cooker)! They use specially blended rice, polished using ancient methods, and cook it freshly every day in our kamado, so you can enjoy the true deliciousness of rice surrounded by the rich aroma of rice in the restaurant.
At "Gohan-ya Isshin," they offer numerous dishes that reflect the seasons, insisting on handmade preparations that incorporate abundant seasonal ingredients, which means the menu changes every season. It's a great joy to enjoy different menus every time you visit!

1. Commitment to Rice
   The quality of rice changes every year depending on the growing environment. Each year during the new rice season, they select the most delicious rice from various production areas.

2. Tai Meshi (Sea Bream Rice)
   This is a refined dish made with fragrant special broth from a whole fresh sea bream and natural salt, cooked into a delicate taste rice. They cook each pot only after receiving an order.

3. Seasonal Limited Dishes
   Using rich ingredients nurtured by the four seasons, they provide dishes that reflect the colors of the season. Please enjoy the seasonal limited dishes.

It seems reasonable and delicious lunch options are available, so I would like to visit again during lunch time next time.
They also offer all-you-can-eat rice and have a wide variety of daily special menus, which are said to be very tasty. The braised pork set meal is particularly popular, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, with many customers, from salarymen to women, always enjoying lunch.
