Kar昕堡早午餐
This time at the brunch place Kar昕堡 in An-nan, it's a local little breakfast shop. I ordered a few dishes: crispy basil egg pancake, fried noodles, beef burger, and fried dumplings.
The crispy basil egg pancake was the most surprising dish for me. The pancake was really crispy, and the crunchiness was quite delightful. Paired with the fragrance of basil, it was one of the better crispy egg pancakes I've had recently in Tainan.
The fried noodles were ordered by my wife, and she thought the taste was pretty good. But I didn’t try it XD so that's all I can say about that.
The fried dumplings were more ordinary; while they weren't bad, they didn't leave much of an impression. I probably wouldn't specifically want to order them again.
The beef burger was quite standard in a good way; the taste was decent, but nothing particularly impressive.
Overall, this shop is not expensive, and the food quality is above average. If you live nearby, it's quite nice to come here for breakfast occasionally.
