During dinner, a friend recommended Qianye Hotpot in Xinzhuang. Although it is a common all-you-can-eat hotpot chain, this store has quite a variety of items and feels like a flagship store. The price of weekend dinner is about 660 yuan per person.
I ordered miso soup, but the soup was quite bland and overall average. The meat products include frozen meat slices for self-service and freshly cut meat for pick-up at the counter. It is worth mentioning that the freshly cut meats include venison and duck. This is my first time to try venison. It seems to have no oily spots, but it is surprisingly tender and has no strange fishy smell. It is quite delicious. Delicious meat. The performance of other meat products picked up at the counter is also quite good, but I did not take the meat products picked up by myself.
In addition to hot pot-related vegetables and meats, this store has an astonishing variety of cooked food items, including fried foods, pastries, sushi, cold cuts, salads, fruits, cakes, ice products, and more. Compared with other Qianye hotpots, the items in this store are indeed quite rich and diverse. If you have the opportunity to come near Xinzhuang Taishan, this is definitely a good choice for a dinner party.
