"Kaifanchuan Restaurant" can be seen in northern, central and southern Taiwan. It mainly provides Sichuan cuisine. The store offers both a la carte and set meals, and new dishes are introduced every season. This time I ordered the regular set menu for two, which includes four dishes, rice, drinks and desserts.
✅Chicken with cane pepper: Use cane pepper oil, garlic sprouts and chicken. The chicken tastes soft and tender, and the chicken skin on top is full of colloid and not greasy at all. The sauce with cane pepper oil will make people more and more numb as they eat. In addition, there are small cucumber strips inside, which makes the whole dish refreshing.
✅Plum Juice Erlong Chicken: It is cooked with plums, and the seasoning is sour and sweet. The chicken is fried in advance and then stir-fried with the sauce, so the crispy texture of the chicken can still be enjoyed.
✅Stir-fried cabbage: The cabbage is crispy and sweet, with the aroma of chili pepper and pot steam. In addition, it is stir-fried with garlic, which is very delicious and not too spicy.
✅Tear-jerking eggs: Use eggs and glutinous rice peppers to fry quickly over high heat, fragrant but not spicy.
✅Orange and Pineapple Bubble: As the name suggests, it uses pineapple and orange plus sparkling water. It tastes like a tropical drink with some pulp in it. It doesn't taste bad but I wouldn't describe it as delicious either. It just tastes quite special.
✅Panda Brother Black and White Raw Milk Roll:
The fresh cream of the whipped milk roll tastes quite thick, but surprisingly it doesn't feel too greasy. When paired with the soft and slippery brown sugar mochi, it has a rich texture.
