I happened to be at Songshan Station for something. Although it's a station in the center of Taipei City, there are actually quite few restaurants, and the dining area is rather quiet during mealtime. After some thought, to play it safe, I chose the established ramen chain, Hanami, for lunch.
It has been a long time since I've had Hanami ramen. Mainly because there are just too many ramen options now, I have long been tired of the old-school ramen places. This time, I decided to "reunite" with it and looked at the menu, selecting a soy sauce ramen from the Bamboo Restaurant that I had never tried before.
The broth was just your standard soy sauce ramen broth—not bad, but nothing special. The ramen had a nice chew to it, so it wasn't too bad. However, I felt that the toppings were lacking, which is why I deducted some points.
Overall, it was acceptable.
