道樂屋台

This ramen shop is located next to Shilin Night Market. The outdoor space is decorated like a Japanese yatai in Kyushu, and the dining atmosphere is very Japanese.

I arrived at around 6pm on a holiday, and there were about 15 people in line. However, the queue moved forward quite quickly, and I only waited for about 10 minutes to be seated (but after ordering, I had to wait 20 minutes before the meal was served...)

Scallop and chicken broth ramen (limited ramen today) $310
My first thought was that the soup was a bit oily. In the middle of the drink, I felt that the soup was quite fresh, but at the end of the drink it was a bit too salty. It was a bowl of ramen that I didn’t find very enjoyable.
In addition to 3 pieces of chicken barbecued pork, there were also 2 scallops and 2 wontons. The chicken barbecued pork was okay, not very tender. The scallops tasted ordinary. There were shrimps in the wontons and they were not small, so it was okay~

Deluxe Tonkotsu Ramen $250
The soup seems ordinary at first, but the more you eat, the smoother it becomes. It has a richer taste, just like a standard bowl of tonkotsu ramen.
In addition to 2 slices of pork barbecued pork, there is also a soft-boiled egg, 2 pieces of seaweed and a lot of fungus. The roasted pork barbecued pork has a distinct aroma, which is not bad. As for the other ingredients, they are just ordinary.

We also ordered the barbecued pork platter for $120
There are 3 pieces of chicken barbecued pork, 2 pieces of pork barbecued pork and 3 pieces of duck barbecued pork. The chicken barbecued pork and pork barbecued pork are the same as those in ramen. The duck barbecued pork is special, but has a slightly fishy smell.

I saw that most of the customers next to me ordered fried chicken. They were big and looked delicious. I should have ordered fried chicken, but it was a pity~~

You can add noodles for free here, but the amount of noodles is already a lot, so I didn’t add more noodles. If I visit again, I would be more willing to order tonkotsu ramen as it is more durable. I wouldn’t want to order chicken soup ramen again.

Overall, judging from the taste and price, if I lived nearby, I would consider eating tonkotsu ramen again, but since it is quite far from home, it is not a ramen that I would make a special trip to visit again.
