This store just opened in August 2024, and it seems that Google also lists branches in Sanchong, Tucheng, and Zhongli. The visit happened to coincide with a company dinner, so here are the dishes from that day.
▪️ Plum Blossom Pork $330
Looking at this meat dish alone, it doesn’t have much fat, so it’s a bit dry. I chose the most basic kombu broth, which is quite mild and needs to be complemented with a bit of sauce.
I originally thought it was a small restaurant, but the buffet was quite rich, offering drinks, ice creams, and a variety of vegetables (they replenish quite quickly, and the items will change, but some vegetables are a bit wilted). The most special part is the shaved ice area, which had many toppings. I randomly picked some to make a sweet soup, and it turned out pretty good! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the ice cream cones.
Overall, it was acceptable. I thought the meat was just okay, but there were quite a few small items. If given the opportunity to visit again, I would take my time to enjoy the food more thoroughly.
