My friend brought me here for the smoked duck, and I absolutely loved it~~

"Jincheng Duck Specialty Store" is a well-known, long-established duck shop. The Jincheng duck is made from smoked duck, with a salty and rich aroma. I really want to buy some to pair with drinks. What's particularly special is that you can choose whether or not to include duck in the soup noodles and thick soups.

The store features an open kitchen, so you can see the cooking process. Overall, it’s quite neat. There are seating areas on the first and second floors—the first floor is in the open space without air conditioning and has a wash basin, while the second floor has air conditioning (though it’s not very obvious). I originally didn’t even know there was a second floor, so I ate right on the first floor.

Jincheng Duck Specialty Store is located near the Dali Department Store in the Qianjin District. There are quite a few parking lots nearby, but they fill up easily, so parking luck really matters.

The vermicelli itself is Q (spongy) and tasteless, but the smoky, salty aroma of the duck makes the whole soup flavorful and sweet. After soaking up the delicious soup, the vermicelli becomes even tastier—I really loved it.

Smoked Duck (small) 💰70
I was already satisfied with the duck in the soup, but the duck leg was spectacular. Besides the flavorful smoky saltiness (not the grill taste), the meat was more tender. Eating it with the soy sauce paste on the side, I wanted to buy a whole duck to take back to Tainan with me🥹🥹. It’s really great with rice or drinks.

Duck Blood Rice Cake (small) 💰30
At a duck specialty store like this, you can’t miss the duck blood rice cake. It's soft and fragrant, and the dipping sauce is gone in no time.

Duck Dry Noodles 💰70
After trying a bite, I still prefer the vermicelli soup😜.

Overall: Everything we ate was fantastic, especially the vermicelli soup. You absolutely have to order the duck as well, highly recommended!
