There recently opened a hot pot restaurant near the art museum, and I was drawn in by the giant tiger at the entrance; it’s really eye-catching and hard to miss!
The interior features a metal industrial style, giving off a quite unique vibe. They specialize in spicy "Mala" hot pots and have an entire self-service area for unlimited vegetables, drinks, and sauces—all of which you can help yourself to, with a wide variety of choices.
The Mala hot pot is a traditional Chongqing hot pot cooked with pure beef tallow, rich in spicy aroma and a hint of numbing without being overwhelmingly hot, which spicy food lovers will absolutely adore.
Dipping meat with fried dough sticks is really amazing; you have to try it!
Specialty ingredients like beef tripe, bullfrog, and tofu pudding are all must-tries, especially the tofu pudding, which is smooth and has a touch of bean flavor after cooking—surprisingly delicious!
If you love spicy hot pot, you should definitely give this place a try; the atmosphere, broth, and ingredients are all quite top-notch!
