The first late-night meal I had after work in Hong Kong, since I arrived after midnight, and my choices were limited. I strolled around the hotel looking for something to eat, and I ended up choosing this place nearby, which was tastier than I expected. 😋

🌟 Braised Pork Belly with Golden Money Stomach
The dry noodles tasted very different from what I’ve had in Taipei, but the flavor wasn’t as strong as I imagined. However, there were plenty of condiments on the table to add. After adding some spiciness and pepper, it completely elevated the dish to another level. The beef stomach had been pre-braised, so it didn’t have a rubbery texture and was very tasty and easy to eat. Overall, it was delicious!

🌟 Shrimp Ball Porridge
This is completely different from what Taiwanese people understand as shrimp balls. They actually de-shell the shrimp, making it easier to eat. The shrimp easily separates from the shell, indicating good freshness. The porridge was a bit overcooked, and there was a lot of broth, which was nice for sipping hot soup.

🌟 Fresh Shrimp Wonton Noodles
I’ve always looked forward to trying wontons in Hong Kong, especially the fresh shrimp ones. The wonton skin was very thin, and there was a high proportion of shrimp meat, with a whole shrimp in each wonton, allowing you to fully appreciate the shrimp flavor.

Considering this was my first meal in Hong Kong, it didn’t disappoint me greatly, though it wasn’t mind-blowingly amazing either.
