It's been a while since I last had Qingxin Fuzhuan! This time, I got one of the newly released paper cups in collaboration with the Sanrio boy band. There should be nine kinds, and I ended up with a mix of characters 🤣. I have to say, Qingxin has always been great at creating collaboration series that are also quite cute!
There are many new beverage shops, some with a literary vibe and others focused on sophistication, but the charm of the old-school tea shops still makes people want to reminisce about them for a long time. Especially since I really like clear menus (the kind where you can easily understand what's in the items just by looking at their names), the ordering process is very comfortable 😌.
✐ Honey Oolong $50
(Tea can be swapped for Pu'er/less ice half honey/+green tea jelly $10)
· Does anyone know about Qingxin's hidden drink, Pearl Honey Fresh Milk Pu'er? .ᐟ.ᐣ If you don't want a dairy drink, you can combine it like I did, which is similarly refreshing and delicious. The tea color is dark but not astringent.
However, the half honey recommended by the staff was a bit too sweet for me, at about seven points sweetness (and I'm usually someone who can accept sweetness quite well). Next time I might lower the sweetness a bit more.
The ratio of honey to Pu'er is just right, with both tea and honey aromas complementing each other perfectly 🍯. The green tea jelly adds texture, keeping the overall drink interesting.
This cup was very refreshing!
