Located on the Penghu Cross-Sea Bridge, Yi Jia Cactus Ice is almost a must-visit dessert shop for tourists. The exterior of the shop is brightly colored, and there's often a long line of people, making it a representative specialty dessert in the area. However, the prices are indeed a bit higher compared to other shops. For instance, this time I ordered a cup of wind grass tea, which cost an extra 20 NT dollars; just considering the drink, it isn't worth it unless the juice ratio is higher.

As for the signature cactus ice, the texture is quite solid, unlike the light and quickly melting shaved ice; it has a certain density and thickness, allowing you to even feel some fruit fiber in it, which adds to the natural experience. The tangy-sweet flavor is very refreshing, with a taste reminiscent of berries, making it a great way to cool off in summer. In contrast, the quality and uniqueness of the dessert justify its higher price.

Overall, Yi Jia Cactus Ice is a culinary experience for tourists, with higher prices but obvious specialties. If you can accept the tourist area prices, this place is indeed a great choice to experience the flavors of Penghu, especially the ice with fruit fiber, which I would still recommend.
