This time I want to share a rather special experience. Today I wasn't at a regular storefront but came across a food truck team collaborating with a hardware store, where different food trucks set up stalls outside from time to time. This kind of pop-up feeling always brings a little surprise. Today, I happened to encounter Wu Mei's Tianjin Jianbing Guozi.

I have always liked Jianbing Guozi, so I definitely didn’t want to miss this. Wu Mei’s seasoning is quite to my taste, and I ordered the chicken leg flavor. The portion of chicken leg meat was quite generous, tender, and fragrant. The "crispy" inside the Jianbing Guozi (the part that I can't quite name but always appears in Jianbing Guozi) was very crispy, and combined with the savory sauce, the overall flavor was very satisfying. The outer skin was soft yet chewy, and the layers of filling were quite distinct; taking a bite felt very enjoyable.

The portion size also showed great sincerity, as one serving was quite filling. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that it's a mobile food truck, and I don’t know when or where it will appear next. Even if I liked it, I wouldn't be able to satisfy my craving whenever I want, which is a bit of a regret.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with Wu Mei’s Tianjin Jianbing Guozi. The chicken leg flavor was impressive and the crispy layer added a lot to it. If I come across it again someday, I will definitely buy it again.
