I really like this menu-free café, where there's no time limit, it has power outlets, and is open until midnight! A friend highly recommended the stewed milk tea here, and I became a regular after just one visit.
To briefly explain the menu-free aspect, you just tell the owner what you want to drink, and if they have the ingredients, they'll make it for you. If you don't know what to drink, the owner will patiently guide you or offer suggestions!
This time I ordered the stewed milk tea and iced siphon coffee!
☕️ Stewed milk tea: It uses fresh milk stewed for more than five hours, with a strong and rich milky aroma, giving a very thick milk tea feeling! You can also freely choose between Assam or Earl Grey tea base; I chose the Assam tea base this time.
☕️ Iced siphon coffee: I initially asked the owner if they had pour-over coffee, but only siphon was available. You can also choose the beans according to your taste; I wanted a slightly acidic fruity flavor this time, and indeed got the taste I was expecting. It was great!
I also saw others ordering ginger tea, floral tea, and even saw the owner cracking eggs to make egg nectar! 😂 There were reviews mentioning they also have high mountain tea, so you really have a chance to drink whatever you want (a high chance, the owner has lots of ingredients).
Stewed milk tea is probably the most expensive drink at $350, while other drinks are about $250. You can stay as long as you want! The most special thing is that since the shop doesn't offer savory food, only Basque and pound cakes, you can bring your own food or order delivery!!
I really love this place. It's quiet and comfortable inside, and many people come to study and work. The environment is retro and spacious. After dinner that day, I stayed until almost midnight! Highly recommended to Foo friends💖
