Today, I want to share a cute bakery hidden in the alleys of residential areas. But let me say the conclusion first: the shop has a very artistic vibe, but the items I bought were just okay.
Classic Toast $80
You can ask the staff to cut the toast into three slices, which is quite thoughtful service. It looks very ordinary, but the softness is just right. It's soft but still has a good chewiness, and the more you chew, the more you can taste the fragrance of the flour and milk, which is quite delicious!
P.S. There are also matcha, toffee caramel mochi, milk crust, and ham and cheese flavors.
White Jade Sweet Potato QQ $70
I couldn't resist grabbing this when I saw the mochi, but I found it to be quite ordinary. The sweet potato is really sweet, but it feels like a case of "sleeping together, yet dreaming apart" with the mochi, and the bread itself is a bit dry, so it's not something I would repurchase.
Luxury Milk Crust Thick Slice $60
We chose the original French flavor, and it looked quite decent. I expected it to smell amazing right out of the oven, but I ended up giving this thick slice to my sister, so I couldn’t taste it myself to evaluate the flavor.
P.S. There are also cocoa, Earl Grey tea, and matcha flavors.
Although the prices of the bread are indeed a bit more expensive than those at regular chain bakeries, the whole shopping space feels quite comfortable, and some of the bread and toast flavors are quite unique, seemingly not found in other bakeries. So it's nice to come by occasionally to buy!
