Summary: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
When you come to Malaysia, you have to try the Bak Kut Teh here.
I was very disappointed with the Bak Kut Teh I had in Johor Bahru before.
After all, it’s just like tasteless pork rib soup.

This time based on the recommendation of locals
Came to this Friendship Bak Kut Teh
Since it’s called friendship
I think our friendship shouldn't be so easy to overturn, right?

When I came, it was dinner time in the evening.
So there are quite a lot of people.
There are no seats in the air-conditioned indoor space.
There are only a few semi-open-air round tables left for guests to use.

And there’s more than just bak kut tea soup on the menu
There are also a variety of Japanese dishes or side dishes to choose from.
If you want to eat a variety of dishes, you can also order here

But maybe it’s because there are more people tonight
So the service staff are too busy.
It was quite late to greet us
And I was warned in advance that the serving speed today will be slower.

But after eating it, I felt that the Bak Kut Teh soup here was indeed better than the one I had last time.

So if you want to come here for dinner, you can order the Bak Kut Teh soup and it will be arranged according to the number of people.
You can then order other dishes and eat them with rice.
It feels like eating mixed vegetables stir-fried in a big pot with bak kut teh soup

⭐️Food section
Of course when you come to a Bak Kut Teh restaurant, you have to order the Bak Kut Teh soup.
The Bak Kut Teh here is divided into two types: dry and wet.
I personally think it's more like a dish.
More like a ribs side dish
You can probably imagine it as braised pork ribs, right?
Very suitable to be eaten with rice

The bak kut tea soup with soup is of course more standard and authentic.
And the soup here, I personally think is great
It feels like medicinal food in it
I feel like drinking it is very replenishing for my body.

And other ingredients include enoki mushrooms, mushrooms, etc.
It looks like a very filling meat and bone tea soup.
And of course whether it's wet or dry
Of course, the pork ribs and meat inside are indispensable.
Overall the meat quality is very good
The portion is quite enough
So eating one portion for one person is actually just right.
But if you want to eat other dishes, you can share it with other people. It doesn’t matter.

In addition, we also ordered vegetable eggs that day
It’s a very authentic home-cooked meal

In addition, I also ordered a dish of green vegetables
This part is less memorable.
After all, it’s just a normal home-cooked stir-fry method.

⭐️Drink section
My friends and I each ordered a drink that day.
But the drinks here are really not that good.
I remember I ordered lemon black tea
But it is very light, maybe because there are too many ice cubes...

⭐️Atmosphere part
If you are sitting in an indoor space, it should be pretty good.
Just the restaurant feel of basic Japanese cuisine
There are several round tables that can seat four or five people together.

But because there were too many people that day
Therefore, dining can only be done outdoors in the semi-open-air area.
Of course, without air conditioning, it will be a bit hot.

Especially when you are still eating bak kut teh soup🤣🤣🤣
There is still a difference in sensibility between indoors and outdoors.
Indoors it feels more like dining in a restaurant
But it feels a bit like working at a desk outdoors

So overall the atmosphere of dining out is not very good.

⭐️Service section
At first, because there were more people today
So after arranging seats, there was no service staff to entertain us.
So I spent a lot of time waiting for my order.
Until we couldn't stand it anymore and went directly to the counter to order food from the waiter
Only then did someone come to help us order food
So in terms of service, maybe it’s because there are too many people.
I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously that day.

The service here is mainly just ordering and delivering food.
Introduction If you have any questions, I will introduce you briefly.
For example, what is the difference between dry Bak Kut Teh soup and eating it?

But overall there is nothing particularly amazing about the service.

⭐️Price section
Overall, it’s quite affordable.
It is indeed Malaysia’s street food
Therefore, I think the price is OK.

⭐️Location section
The Bak Kut Teh shop we ate at today is right next to the main road.
But because the traffic in Malaysia is so chaotic
Therefore, as long as there are cars and the like, they may be stuck in traffic for several minutes.
Therefore, just because it is right next to the main road does not mean that it is in a good location.
It still depends on the traffic conditions nearby and whether he is in a busy area.

The location itself is pretty good. There are also other restaurants selling food next to it.
But the traffic is very chaotic and there is a lot of traffic

⭐️Summary
If you are a person who loves to eat Bak Kut Teh soup
I personally think you can give this place a try
After all, his soup has a medicinal feel
It won’t feel careless

Lian Kee Chicken Rice
ChineseSubang Jaya
The place is a stall located inside the MeiSek Kopitiam. It operates in the evening as the morning and afternoon is for the other stalls. Drinks have to be ordered from the drinks stall via self-service. Parking is awailable but would be hard to find on busy days. I was expecting things to taste better as there were a number of patients dining in. The steam chicken and rice was just ordinary. The beansprouts lacked taste and were not crunchy. However, the redeeming qualities of the place was their wantan and pork balls. The wantan was full of flavourful stuffing and the chillie oil in the soup gave a nice kick to it. The pork balls were very good as well, with a firm springy texture. Price is pretty standard subang prices. Overall, i wont come here unless I am craving chicken rice and am unwilling to go to better places. While i am here, the porkballs and wantan is a must have.

Big Big Wantan-Mee & Rice Damansara Jaya
ChinesePetaling Jaya
Known for its wan tan mee, hence the name, decided to visit the shop. It's been a few years since i have been here and wanted to have it again. Parking is difficult to find on the road, with alot of people double parking. Might be better to park in the atria mall, though please note the parking fees isnt cheap. Had to wait a few minutes, as the lunch crowd was happening. Service was ok. To order, just write your order code on a piece of paper and pass to the staff. Food came relatively quickly but unfortunately the quality was lacking. The portion was big but the quantity of char siew was small. The char siew had the premium look but was tough and no crispy caramel parts. The caramel parts were abit sweet and sticky instead. The noodles was decent and the sauce paired well with it. However, in the past there were pork lards placed along the noodles. The wantans, though packed with filling; just tasted normal. They only had 3 pieces only. The white coffee was terrible. It was very diluted with no flavour at all. The payment option of cash was very dissapointing, especially since almost every other place has atleast a qr paying option. I can imagine this point alone will put off alot of customers. Overall, i wont really come back unless i really really want to eat wan tan mee. Its just slighly above mediocre wan tan mee but definitely not living up to its name.

時時香RICE BAR 宜蘭新月店
ChineseYilan County
This is a chain restaurant that's present in a lot of malls, and generally popular. We were quite late for our lunch (2pm) but was happy to see that this place was still open. The food was very satisfying. The dishes came out all fairly quickly except for the meatball dish. At that point we were pretty much already ready to go at that point, so the only negative side to our experience. That meatball dish was also very good though. I found all of the flavors very familiar and comforting for Chinese food. The omelette with pickled radish especially was nice, the inside was soft and the radish had just the right amount of salt. Service was nice and attentive, though expected since we were the only ones present besides one other party.
