京都鶏白湯そば 純 四条烏丸店

I visited the reception for the new store opening of Kyoto's Chicken Paitan Ramen, "Jun," in Karasuma. 🍜🐔

The "Kyoto Chicken Paitan Soba Jun" store is located near Karasuma Station and Shijo Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. 🚃

Inside, there is a large table set up like a counter, giving it a cafe-like atmosphere. ✨

On the table were options for flavor changes:

• Orange vinegar 🍊
• Apple vinegar 🍎
• Dashi vinegar 🐟
• Black pepper
  and other seasonings. 🧂

I opted for the limited-time menu items:

• Miso Foam Chicken Paitan with Wontons 🍜
• Tajima Chicken Don 🐔

The Miso Foam Chicken Paitan 🍜
The ramen that arrived was topped with a rich, foamy miso chicken paitan soup🐔, medium-thick noodles 🍜, rare chashu pork 🐷, a soft boiled egg 🥚, mizuna greens, green onions, purple onions (Early Red) 🟣, and two types of wontons, beautifully presented. I also received a lemon 🍋 for flavor enhancement. ✨
The soup was enriched, emulsified, and incredibly flavorful; the brown color and miso aroma were delightful. ✨ There were also hints of ginger and it had an appealing fragrance. 🫚
The chewy medium-thick noodles paired perfectly with the soup. 🍜 Rare chashu was substantial and impressive; while the main store serves torched chashu, the rare variety was delicious as well. 🐷

There were two types of wontons: shrimp and meatball. 🦐🐷
Both were satisfying, with the wonton skins being plump and tasty. 🥰 The soft boiled egg had a creamy yolk that matched well with the rich soup. 🥚 The vegetables were crunchy and delicious. ✨ I enjoyed using the vinegar for a flavor change as well. ✨
The lemon provided a refreshing and vibrant acidity that was delightful. 🍋 The orange vinegar was refreshing but also had a different sweet and sour twist. 🍊 The apple vinegar was pleasantly refreshing. 🍎 The dashi vinegar had a nostalgic taste that I liked. 🐟 Given the richness of the ramen, the lemon worked perfectly. 🍋 It was incredibly delicious and I was very satisfied! 😍

It was cute that the bowls differed based on the flavor. 🥰

For the Tajima Chicken Don 🐔, this is another favorite of mine. 🐔
The tender, cooked Tajima chicken was topped with a beautiful egg yolk, which I broke and mixed in. 🐔🥚 The combination of chicken, egg yolk, and sauce over rice was delicious. While it was great on its own, pouring some soup over it added an extra level of enjoyment. ☺️

Once again, I was extremely satisfied with the flavors!

The service was just as attentive and pleasant as at the main store. ☺️

There were many differences from the main store, and each item was delicious, making me want to try more of the menu. 🥰
