Today is my first time to eat Mos’s barley-roasted pork pearl burger. I think it is a signature product, but I have never tried it. Mainly because I often eat cod burgers, and Moss often launches very tempting limited-time specials. products, so I would never choose the roasted pork Pearl Castle.
The store I visited today is located on Chongqing South Road, about a 6-minute walk from National Taiwan University Hospital Station. There is often a queue at noon on weekdays, so I use the app to order online in advance and go directly to the reservation pick-up counter to pick up the meal. There is no need to wait at all, which is great!
I used the new member meeting gift coupon and ordered Super Barley Roasted Pork Pearl Fort + Taiwan Iced Green Tea (sugar-free, L) for $99
The rice has a hard texture, and the grains are distinct when eaten, not soft and sticky. The rice is also added with lime, which is a plus!
The beef roasted pork slices are well cooked, not dry, and moist, and the taste is great. It tastes great when paired with wheat rice, lettuce, and onions. It even tastes better than the ones that specialize in beef bowls. Yoshinoya and Sukiya are even more delicious!
The small drawback is that the portion size is really exquisite~~ I tried my best to eat it slowly, but I still feel that it only took a few bites to finish it. If I were to eat more, I might need to eat two of Mos's burgers before I would be full 😂
As for green tea, it is green tea. For me, it is used with burgers and fried food to relieve tiredness.
I also ordered a piece of Hokkaido croquette (wild vegetable flavor) $35
Inside the croquette is simple mashed potatoes, and a very small amount of corn, beans, and carrots that can be said to be garnished (it seems to be three-color beans?). I really like the croquette seasoning, which is sold in Japanese restaurants outside. The croquette is about the same size, and it does make me a little fuller with this piece of snack~
Overall, I feel that the environment of this store is a bit crowded, and when dining there, you will often smell of cooking fumes all over your body, so I am used to taking food out to the office to eat. The attitude of the store staff is average, not very friendly, but they don't charge it. The service charge is not demanding~ The food is of the same good quality as Moss, but if you want to be full, you may need at least $200~ I will continue to visit again in the future!
