The restaurant "World-Weary Meat" in Nanzi, Kaohsiung really has an interesting name. I originally thought it was just a regular bento shop, but upon entering, I found it to be a bit different—it's a "heaven for meat lovers" featuring charcoal-grilled meat, snowflake beef, and pork chop rice. They really give a generous portion of meat, and it definitely lives up to the hype.
There are plenty of bento options, and there are also healthy choices like hot-pressed Danish toast and low-GI meal boxes, so whether you want to eat a lot of meat or something lighter, you can find something suitable. I ordered the charcoal-grilled meat rice, and the aroma was spot on, with a bit of char on the edges of the meat. The white rice soaked up the meat juices and was really delicious.
Overall, the portions are substantial, the prices are reasonable, it's convenient for takeout, and the dining area is clean and comfortable. If you're feeling like "I just want to eat meat today," this place is quite suitable for letting out some of that world-weary feeling.
