"The Fushitato Breakfast Shop" is located near Ximen Station, about an 8-minute walk from Exit 1, and it's not far from Carrefour. It's a very popular breakfast spot. If you arrive around 10 AM on weekends, you need to fill out a waiting list at the takeout window, but the wait isn't long, about half an hour.
Sate Beef Sandwich $95
The toast has been pre-toasted, making it very fragrant. The filling includes a generous amount of satay beef and tender scrambled eggs. The satay flavor is quite strong; it tastes pretty good, but I feel like it can get rich if you eat too much.
Original Milk Thick Toast $70
This is essentially a milk custard thick toast, but the Fushitato's milk custard thick toast is really a must-order signature item. Although the price isn't cheap and the calories are quite scary, it’s definitely worth it. I recommend eating it quickly after it’s served; taking a big bite when it’s hot filled with custard is very satisfying.
Creamy Crispy Toast $55
This is toasted bread drizzled with sweetened condensed milk and cream, another calorie bomb. However, I think it’s great as well; it’s also recommended to eat it hot since the bread is toasted very crispy.
Combo A $70
It comes with chicken balls and fries. I feel the sauce has a bit of a fermented tofu taste that doesn't really match, haha. The chicken balls are quite ordinary while the fries are pretty good, and the combo is optional to include.
Overall, I think Fushitato performs really well on desserts, so if two people come to dine, you can share one savory dish and save room for dessert (if you can only choose one dessert, I still recommend the milk custard thick toast).
