This bento shop is a long-established one in Tai Po. There is always a long line of big-name restaurants every meal time, and they are all locals who come to buy. I don’t know what the charm is, which makes people want to queue up to buy and eat.
The most popular item in the store is the chicken cutlet bento. Now the price has increased to 110 yuan per serving. It still piques my curiosity. There are many dishes on the display. You can choose three kinds of side dishes + an egg product or four kinds of side dishes and rice. The portion is on the small side, only two-thirds (one-third of which comes with vegetables).
The chicken cutlet was so big that it couldn't even cover the lunch box. The chicken cutlet was not only big but also very thick. It made my mouth water. I don’t know if it’s because it’s fried in advance, but the skin of the chicken chop is soft and the dough is a bit mushy. The chicken chop itself is quite tender and not too dry, but it’s just a little salty. I might not go out of my way to buy it next time. I think it’s good if I’ve eaten it before. .
