Title: Student's Experience - What to Eat

This time I went to a pork cutlet restaurant near Zhonghe Station and happened to have an Uber Eats discount coupon. I decided to try a place I wouldn't normally go to. With the discount, it was the perfect chance to indulge in food I usually wouldn't buy.

Meal:
Curry Pork Cutlet Rice $190 (Uber price)
Discount coupon $100 = $90
In-store price $180

Thoughts:
The restaurant has no seating for dining; almost all orders are for takeaway. The owner was considerate and separated the cabbage from the pork cutlet and rice. Even if I get home a bit late, the fried pork cutlet won’t get soggy from the steam. The transparent window allows you to see real pork loin pieces, not mixed meat. The owner was using a pork piercer to physically tenderize the meat.

There are two types of sauce: pork cutlet sauce and tartar sauce.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to the shredded cabbage, there was also some pickled radish. After enjoying the pork cutlet with sauce, the radish and cabbage combination was a delightful palate cleanser!

The pork cutlet was thick and not too dry. The batter was neither too thick nor too thin.

The only downside was the curry; I expected it to have some potatoes in it. It was just a simple curry "sauce," which probably cooked down to a paste. After bringing it home, the curry sauce was colder than the miso soup.

Next time, I won’t order the curry sauce again.

But I will try other flavors of pork cutlet!

Waiting Time:
Since it wasn’t meal hours when I ordered, it took about 5 to 8 minutes to pick up my order.
