Meilun Black Tea is also an old breakfast shop located in the Meilun area of Hualien. The dining space is very large, so you don't have to worry too much about finding a seat. However, during peak breakfast hours, it often requires lining up for a while, so you need to allocate some time to wait to order. Fortunately, the food is served quickly, so you don't have to worry about waiting too long.
Regarding the food, the crepe used for the egg pancake is made from traditional batter and has a relatively moist texture, so if you add too much sauce, the entire dish will feel overly wet. Personally, I'm not a fan of that.
The texture of the radish cake is also on the moist side, so I recommend not adding too much sauce. However, since this shop's flavors are generally mild, not adding more sauce may leave you feeling unsatisfied, which is indeed a bit tricky.
However, I highly recommend their drinks. The soy milk is rich and fragrant, with a strong soybean flavor. Additionally, I also highly recommend the almond tea. Some people might dislike the taste of almonds, but I find that this almond tea doesn't have an overpowering flavor; overall, it has a gentler taste. If you have the chance, you should definitely give it a try!
