📍Taihu Craft Brewing Ximen Driftwood is located at the intersection of Kaifeng Street and Kunming Street, in the same building as Hotel PaPa Whale.

🍽️Environment
Driftwood Ximending has a driftwood theme. The store uses a large number of driftwood from Taitung and Taichung as tables and chairs. There are a lot of wooden decorations in this 50-square-foot space, giving you the illusion of being on the beach.
There are many seats in the store, which can accommodate hundreds of people, and the air conditioning is also very cool. What's more special is that there is an outdoor bar area where you can sit, but in this weather, few people may use it🤣
There is a projector playing sports events in the store, and because the store is large, the noise from other tables has less impact.

🍺Meals
In addition to Taihu craft beer, Drifttwoof Ximen also offers some basic bartending at reasonable prices in Taipei. Most of the meals include different types of French fries, as well as chicken wings, salted crispy chicken, etc. This time around 7 o'clock, the braised food was sold out, so I ordered chicken wings.

Numbers 1, 2, and 3 on the beer and wine list are the sales rankings of last week. Those who have difficulty choosing can choose from them, or they can tell the clerk which wines they want to try before making a choice.

I ordered my childhood sweetheart for the first cup, which is plum wine + beer. It tastes very refreshing overall. The combination of the sourness of plum wine and the slight bitterness of hops gives you a sweet and sour taste, which immediately makes you appetizing.

The spicy chicken wings smell good, and they taste delicious with some spicy powder sprinkled on them. However, the chicken wings themselves are not big. Although the outer skin is crispy, the inside is not juicy, but it is not sticky, so it is good as a snack.

▪️Taihu IPA small cup $220
For the second cup, I ordered Taihu Classic IPA, which won the WBA2023 world's best. The IPA uses American hops, which has a more obvious bitterness. The citrus flavor is obvious near and after the entrance, as well as some light fruit flavors. Overall, it's pretty good, but I don't like the bitterness of hops. It is recommended to try it first before clicking.

😁In summary, it’s a pretty comfortable bar. It’s not too crowded or noisy. The staff is also very kind. The feedback is pretty good with the Cathay Cube.
