🎖️Old Hunan🎖️
I haven't written a food review for a while, and it looks like the photos will expire soon, so I thought I’d write one now....
The reason I didn’t want to write a food review is that the prices for food have been constantly rising, which has greatly reduced my motivation to write. The organizers, please add more effort...
Old Hunan, as the name suggests, serves Hunan cuisine, which is spicy, very spicy. After eating, I was sweating profusely.
One dish you must order is the stir-fried pork; their stir-fried pork is pretty good, with solid meat and a strong aroma. It’s very oily and goes well with rice, making you unable to resist having one bowl after another.
The chicken gizzards are the spiciest here, no doubt about it. The taste is pretty good, but it’s extremely spicy, and I couldn't handle it well, so I didn’t eat much.
The fresh river fish pot includes various small fish, like yellow croaker, and tastes quite good, fairly fresh. However, there are a lot of small fish bones, so you need to be especially careful while eating.
Overall, it’s a pretty good Hunan restaurant, without the noise of chain stores, just the tranquility that a small shop should have. (Of course, the environment is also quite clean.)
If you can handle spicy food and happen to live nearby, you’re welcome to give it a try XD.
