🥖 Both locals and tourists are lining up! A famous shop for Fukuoka's mentaiko baguette 🥖

When in Fukuoka, you must indulge in mentaiko! In addition to mentaiko dishes, you have to buy a few baguettes made with mentaiko!

The Full Full series of bakeries use freshly made bread from Japanese flour, baked on-site, and utilize seasonal local ingredients. The quality is guaranteed and the taste is naturally delicious.

There are always long lines in the store, and the bakers' hands never stop working; they pull fresh bread out of the oven about every 10 minutes, totaling over 50 times a day!

Inside, there are many types of bread to fill, and many mothers fill up their plates. However, if you want mentaiko, you almost have to wait around 30 minutes after ordering to get it, even with a number ticket.

Since I chose to eat in, it was served hot right after coming out of the oven. The exterior is crispy, while the center is airy and chewy. As you chew, the rich wheat aroma spreads in your mouth, and it’s fantastic to eat the bread by itself!

The filling of exploding mentaiko is savory and slightly spicy. You can really understand why so many people are lining up (I heard conversations in Chinese, Korean, and English).

They also have a set menu pairing wine with the bread, which I've heard is highly recommended! However, the mentaiko bread is quite oily overall; it tastes refreshing and you don’t notice it while eating, but the oil on your hands and the packaging doesn't lie 🥹 You can't eat too much 😂

The text translates to: "Dining in Mentaiko French Bread ¥488 Black Coffee ¥306"
The inside is filled with slightly spicy mentaiko.
You can see the bread-making process directly in the store.
If you can't finish your meal, you can pack it up to take away. The regular bread in the store can also be self-served to reheat here if you dine in.
Each time, about 10 to 12 pieces come out.
Take a photo of your food with the Fooca camera, and write a genuine dining review to earn extra income. Every meal comes with a reward!

Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
