Today I ate at a Northern Thai restaurant that has been recommended by Michelin many times.
I heard from friends that it is almost impossible to eat at this restaurant without making a reservation.
But maybe because I went outside of Thailand tourist season, I was lucky enough to eat it.
Meals
Thai chrysanthemum tea: very sweet, and it will feel a bit sweet in your mouth after drinking it. I don’t like it but it is quite unique.
Cold grapefruit: You can think of it as cold green papaya, but replaced with grapefruit; it goes well together unexpectedly, sour and sweet and very appetizing
Northern Thai Beef Stew: This stew is very soft and sweet, and the sauce is perfect with rice (you can eat several bowls!)
The last dessert is the must-try mango sticky rice in Thailand: the mango is very sweet, and the texture when paired with the glutinous rice is quite smooth.
Conclusion: Next time I want to go to Chiang Mai to eat authentic Northern Thai food😆
Popular Science: Just like Taiwan, the northern and southern parts of Thailand also have different tastes. Northern Thailand: sweeter Southern Thailand: spicy
