♢ Koufu Soymilk Shop ♢
Location: Located near NCCU, about a three-minute walk to reach.
Dining Environment: The environment is average, with a semi-open space; to the right upon entering is the frying station, and there’s a seating area inside.
Ordering Method: Order at the counter, and pay when leaving.
Soymilk (iced) $17
Regular sugar-sweetened iced soymilk that is freshly made, served without a lid for dine-in! It seems there isn't a sugar-free option on the menu.
Pork Chop Omelet $50
Ordered the famous pork chop omelet, which features pork that resembles teriyaki pork loin. The soy sauce is on the salty side, but the taste is pretty good! The portion is small; if you have a big appetite, you might need to order two to feel full.
Rarely with some free time in the morning, I decided to try the famous pork chop omelet at Koufu Soymilk Shop! When I arrived, nearing closing time, the business was still good, with one group dining in and three people waiting for takeout.
About five minutes after ordering, I received my meal; the owner first brought out the iced soymilk, which I found to be sweet; the soy flavor wasn’t too strong, which is nice (I’m not a big fan of soybean flavor).
The portions for the meal are not large; my appetite in the morning is usually not great, but after finishing the soymilk and pork chop omelet, I was only about 70% full.
