The chicken white broth ramen shop near the accommodation has a simple menu. Besides seasonal specials, they offer one type of chicken salt broth noodles, two kinds of dry mixed noodles (soy sauce/chicken salt), and a mini char siu rice.
This time, I ordered the chicken salt ramen and the seasonal yuzu cold noodles, along with a bowl of char siu rice.
The chicken salt ramen was very delicious; the saltiness complemented the chicken flavor perfectly. It uses a bubbling chicken white broth technique, and the soup was delicate and elegant.
As for the seasonal cold noodles, I definitely do not recommend them. Even though it’s hot in Osaka and I wanted cold noodles, this bowl just didn’t work for me 🤣. It had a bland taste and felt a bit too refreshing...
The char siu rice was average; it was okay to eat, and the seasoning wasn’t strong but had a nice grilled aroma.
