Golden Wheat is one of the few restaurants I visit purely for the sake of "drinking." This time, I chose to come during happy hour on a weekday evening, and the temptation of half-price beer made me order a few classic flavors without hesitation. The first to arrive at the table was the "Classic Wheat Beer," which had a subtle aroma of banana and clove. It was refreshing and smooth on the palate, with fine bubbles; just this one glass immediately put me in a relaxed state.
Next, I tried the "Honey Beer," one of the restaurant's signatures. The sweetness was just right—not overly sweet—allowing the malt flavor of the beer to have more depth. Paired with upbeat music and a slightly tipsy atmosphere, it was delightful to have one glass after another.
The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with a well-balanced combination of industrial style and wooden elements. The lighting is somewhat dim but still warm, making it perfect for a casual drink and conversation with friends. The staff is friendly and proactively reminds customers when happy hour is about to end, showing thoughtful attention to detail. Although I didn’t order any food during this visit to Golden Wheat, the beer alone was satisfying enough. For beer enthusiasts, this place is definitely a happy spot worth revisiting.
