❤️ A restaurant that puts effort into its cooking, it's rare to find a place in Taichung that leaves such a lasting impression. Highly recommended for dining.
(However, I do suggest that the frosted glass in the restroom be replaced, as it's a bit awkward seeing someone inside while they're using it.)
Every post includes actual dining photos, even if it's just a picture of a drink, to prevent some users from pretending to dine without including food photos.

📍 Located at the intersection of Jingxian South 2nd Road and Huanxi East Road Section 3, the restaurant has plenty of seating and provides restrooms. The second floor seems to be a camera repair shop.
🚗 Parking is relatively easy, with plenty of street parking available next to the river.
🏍️ Motorcycles are parked on the sidewalk outside the restaurant, but it's uncertain if that's legal.

💬 Clean and comfortable, the decor follows a simple style, and the restaurant's sign is quite understated. The establishment features an open kitchen where you can see the staff and owner cooking, creating a fresh and clean vibe. The restroom is very clean, and there is alcohol available for disinfecting. The owner is friendly and informs customers that some dishes will have a stronger flavor to preserve the taste.
Here, you can enjoy the chef's specially crafted pasta dishes. This price range is not considered cheap in Taichung, but the friends I dined with all found it delicious and highly recommended giving it a try.

I chose the Treetop apple juice, which came in a 375ml aluminum can.

🍖🥚🍅 Rice with Tomato Sauce Braised Beef Ribs and Soft-Boiled Egg $378 The rich tomato sauce perfectly blends with the risotto, and the beef ribs are tender and juicy, melting in your mouth. The addition of the soft-boiled egg adds layers to this dish, making it even more delicious, especially for someone like me who loves runny eggs. Finally, the crispy texture of the fried taro and burdock root adds different layers to the meal. Additionally, the risotto can also be swapped for rice-shaped noodles, offering a different texture.

The soup and bread felt average, not the typical creamy mushroom soup that people often see; this one tasted more like a thicker corn chowder.

The salad feels like there's a bit too much dressing. Although it clings perfectly to the lettuce, I still find it too rich for my taste, which tends to be on the lighter side.

I also had the wild mushroom chicken breast with my companion, which was very tender. The chicken breast was stuffed with wild mushrooms that paired perfectly, and when I took a bite, the broth spread in my mouth. The aroma of the nuts on the surface was truly perfect!

The cheese made by the boss is super delicious, not too watery and not too hard, similar to the cheese sold outside. Adding strawberry jam makes it really good! It's the perfect ending to the whole meal.
