# Open During the New Year

This is a food stall that can be seen shortly after entering the front gate of the Taipei City Zoo. I came here to eat on the third day of the Lunar New Year. The stall has a sign with small tables, and in theory, they should sell their food whenever the zoo is open, especially around lunchtime. However, since it’s a uniform-price stall during the New Year, there is a possibility that they might not set up after starting work.

I ordered the sweet and sour pork lunch box, which might be at a higher price during the New Year, set at a uniform price of $140. When I opened the lunch box, I saw a very small piece of pork, which, based on its surface area, probably only occupies about a quarter of the lunch box.

After picking up the sweet and sour pork, I noticed a fried egg, but what struck me was the large eggshell. How can you cook an egg in such a way that the eggshell remains so large? This shows not only a lack of attention but also seems a bit mocking towards the customers.

The side dishes included cabbage and greens, which were okay. However, there was a large portion filled with corn and carrots, which I found disappointing. It felt like useless garnish.

Lastly, I must say that the overall taste of the lunch box was not good; it was bland and lacking flavor. The main dish, the sweet and sour pork, had a stronger flavor but wasn’t delicious; it was just an average sweet and sour taste. This alone cannot cover the shortcomings of the entire lunch box. In the end, I finished the surface vegetables and meat but left the rice uneaten. Overall, I do not recommend this. After trying this food stall's lunch box, I have lost all interest in this brand.

How did you break such a huge eggshell? That's amazing!
