In the past, my impression of Mikexia was quite good, and the quality of the drinks was not bad, but today I was surprised. I ordered the same drink, but the quality was much worse!

The branch we visited today is located near Zhongshan Station. It is only a 2-minute walk from Exit 2. Turn right in the alley next to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Nanxi Store 1.

Taisho black tea latte (large cup) $70
After taking a sip, I thought, "Oh my gosh! This tastes too watery!" It was very watery, much like the taste of a whole glass filled with ice cubes and then melted. The milky taste was very light, so light that I doubted that it was added. milk
The only redeeming feature of the whole drink is the pearls, which are quite sweet. I didn’t like sweetness in the past, but today’s cup of fresh milk tea, which is as light as water, is just enough to enhance the taste. The pearls are also chewy.

I don’t know if the clerk made a mistake today or something else, why the quality is so different from the same drink I bought at other branches. I will buy it again next time. If the taste is still the same, I may not visit again.
