After finishing dinner nearby, my family passed by this famous place and thought we’d give it a try. The three of us only ordered one large portion, but halfway through, we immediately ordered a medium portion as well. 🤣
The tofu is cut into small pieces, not a whole square block.
The texture is very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The flavor is quite strong; the tofu itself is flavorful. Also, it’s not punctured and soaked in pickled vegetables! (This happens in both north and central regions…) Although I like Taiwanese pickled vegetables, I don’t like tofu to be punctured first.
Overall, highly recommended!
