This name is really cute. If I hadn't had a family introduction at first, I might have thought it was too silly and wouldn't have gone into this restaurant! But my sister kept telling me that this restaurant is very popular. Initially, they were just a breakfast place, but later on, they opened for lunch too. Even so, there are often long queues, and it seems everyone is quite willing to have brunch during dinner time, so later, the restaurant extended its hours to include dinner! Personally, I think this arrangement is quite nice. Sometimes you just want to eat something similar to breakfast for dinner.
Today we ordered several dishes to share, and here are the three I recommend:
❤️ Steak Panini and Cheese Style
I've always liked paninis! It's somewhat like our Taiwanese hot-pressed toast, but the American kind always has a lot of fillings. The outer crust can be really crispy, and the cheese inside 🧀 perfectly combines with mushrooms 🍄 and beef 🥩, making the overall flavor very rich without being overly salty. This was my favorite dish of the day! They also provide pickles 🥒 to enhance the flavors and cut through the richness. The portion is very generous, so sharing between two people is definitely no problem!
❤️ Chicken and Vegetable Mexican Wrap
This is the only dish today that includes vegetables 🥬. When eating out in foreign countries, the biggest worry is not having enough ingredients. Fortunately, this dish contains tomatoes 🍅 and lettuce, along with a lot of chicken, which is very tender. The overall combination is refreshing, and having this wrap among our many dishes was a nice touch to freshen the palate!
❤️ Banana Coconut French Toast 🍞
This dish was specifically requested by my little nephew, making it our dessert for today. Overall, it is slightly sweet, but other desserts can be overly sweet, loaded with chocolate sauce or syrup 🍮. This dish turns out to be quite healthy, with not only bananas 🍌 but also coconut flakes. It has a fruity sweetness, and there's also whipped cream on the side to add sweetness. If you feel it's not sweet enough, they provide maple syrup, which I personally think makes for a very decent dessert after the meal!
Overall, I think this is a simple, hearty, and delicious restaurant. If you're unsure about what to eat later, it’s definitely a good choice for a quick and satisfying meal!
