📍New Taipei City, Linkou District (Linkou Mitsui Second Building)
Japanese-style chain set meal specialty store 🍱🇯🇵
During a weekday visit to the newly opened Linkou Mitsui Second Building, I found that Yayoi-ken was relatively empty at dining time. I remembered that the Federated Jizuru Card offers a discount of 100 NT dollars for spending over 1,000 NT dollars on weekdays, so I chose to eat here.
The staff seemed a bit inexperienced 😆
They weren't very clear when I asked several questions about the menu.
I ordered using an iPad, and there were many menu items, which made choosing difficult 🤪
To reach the discount threshold (including service charge), I selected the limited-time "Satisfaction Double Set Meal" for 980 NT dollars, which was very rich in items and very filling.
🥘 Set meal items
🤍 Appetizer: Chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard) - Two servings:
The texture was very smooth and delicious! It was made with chicken broth and contained two or three pieces of chicken.
🤍 Set meal: Kiyose Health Pot:
The kombu soup base was a bit salty.
There were many ingredients in the pot, including salmon, pork slices, cabbage, clams, udon noodles, tofu, etc.
In addition, there was free refill of white rice and side dishes.
It was quite good and very satisfying.
🤍 Set meal: Deluxe Boiled Beef:
This dish was also slightly salty!
The fried items and pork cooked with mixed eggs were very flavorful.
The portion was slightly smaller than the previous dish.
🤍 Drinks: Two cups:
Hot matcha 🍵 was really not recommended! It lacked flavor.
🤍 Dessert: Matcha Ice Cream:
In addition to the matcha ice cream itself, it was served with warabi mochi and red bean paste.
The matcha flavor was very rich and made for a great ending to this filling meal 🥰
🍄
Would I visit again? Yes!
The dining area is spacious and comfortable.
I would love to visit again using the Jizuru Card discount.
