💰MOP141 (Beef Ball Rice Noodles + Pork Chop Bun + Iced Lemon Tea)
🍜 At the familiar Guangfu Chao Cuisine before boarding, I ordered the Beef Ball Rice Noodles for 65 MOP. The broth is refreshing, with a mild peppery fragrance - it's quite drinkable. The beef balls performed better than expected; they're bouncy, with a noticeable texture, and the rice noodles are not mushy. Finishing the whole bowl was quite pleasant.
🍔 The Pork Chop Bun for 48 MOP wasn't memorable this time. The bread is soft, but the pork chop lacks crunchiness and juiciness. Plus, it's slathered with a thick layer of mayonnaise, making it taste quite sweet. A few bites are acceptable, but the more you eat, the easier it is to feel overwhelmed, almost like having a "savory dish turned dessert" sensation 😅
🍋 The most disappointing was the Iced Lemon Tea for 28 MOP. I saw everyone else ordering it, so I followed suit, but that was a mistake. The tea base is bitter, completely lacking aroma, and the sweet flavor is forced in, overpowering the lemon taste. The entire cup is unbalanced and hard to drink; I could only watch it freeze and melt away.
🧳 In summary, I left feeling full but not satisfied. Next time, if I’m really hungry, I might choose the beef ball series, but I’d skip the drink and the pork chop bun!
