【Foodholic Noko@Amalfi Coast Italy-Plaano】
This is a restaurant with a pleasing scenery and delicious food. It is even more surprising and satisfying to encounter a good restaurant casually!
There are many small towns along the Amalfi coastline. The most famous ones are Positano and Amalfi. However, there are too many tourists in these two towns. In order to avoid the crowds, we went from Positano to Amalfi. Along the way, I saw a restaurant and went in to eat.
This "Ristorante Il Pino" is actually run by a hotel "Hotel Il Pino". We arrived at 12 noon. There was only one group of guests in the store, but they were taking a cooking class. It turned out that there were also cooking classes available here. The chef (?) He also joked with us, "If the food doesn't taste good later, you must know that you can't blame me!" 😂
This restaurant can definitely be called a landscape restaurant. When you sit inside, you can directly see the beautiful Amalfi coastline and the sea. The row of seats near the window is very coveted. Because we were the first group of customers after the opening, we sat down. Arrived at the best location
Starter - Mixed Seafood Appetizer €21
This dish was super amazing as soon as it was served. It is a very exquisite presentation, including sesame raw tuna rolls, grilled octopus with eggplant, and mung bean stewed squid. Everything tastes very good, and you can feel it from the presentation to the taste. Thanks to the chef’s attentiveness, I highly recommend this appetizer!
Main meal - Cuttlefish noodles with mullet roe and clams €20
I won’t go into details about how chewy Italian spaghetti is. I haven’t eaten one yet that I think is not soft and hard. Sprinkling it with mullet roe powder looks appetizing, and the sophistication is instantly improved. The cuttlefish noodles are salty. The temperature is just right and the portion of noodles is enough. I like this dish.
Main meal - confit pork loin with seasonal vegetables €26
After taking the first bite, I instantly felt like I was back in Taiwan. It tastes very much like Taiwanese Dongpo pork or Zhuangrou. It can be fat or lean. The meat quality is very good. It opens as soon as you touch the knife and fork, so you don’t have to work hard at all. Cut it, but I think the fatty part tastes a bit piggy, and I personally don’t like it very much.
Drinks - freshly squeezed lemon juice €6
You can choose freshly squeezed juices here, including lemon, green apple, etc. I think I have to drink lemon juice every time I come here. The result is so original that it is very sour 😂
After-dinner coffee - cappuccino €3
The cappuccino is a big cup, and it's sprinkled with chocolate powder, but I think it tastes pretty good. It's passable as an after-dinner drink, but it's not the cappuccino that I miss so much.
